Last Fifteen Days of 2011
Not always happens what you think of but sometimes they come to you as if they were preprogrammed. Many of the times, I am shattered by the plan and I turned down the plan that actually turned out to be successful. We are not precise about the tomorrow though we claim we are. Here we go for the last fifteen days of 2011, was it happened what I expected?!!!
I moved towards Pokhara at 13th of December and halted in Butwal on the way to Pokhara. I met my friend there in Butwal along with other friends. Next day we moved to Pokhara via Muglin bazaar. After taking lunch we headed towards Tanahun taking oranges on the way. We halted there in Ghansikuwa in Tanahun District where we took some water from kuwa (well) and paid homage to Bhanu and the Ghansi (grass cutter) who inspired the pioneer poet Bhanubhakta Acharya to serve the nation in literature. Finally we reached the beautiful city, Pokhara.
After checking in a hotel, we went to Lakeside to hang out there with my friends. Lakeside is wonderful junction to hang out with friends: every evening, taking wine watching the beautiful Phewa and hearing splashing sound of it; waking early in the morning watching Machhapuchchhre Mountain and figuring out the black tiger on it. It's really heavenly touch. These were regular activities every day we had in Pokhara after finishing tedious training. It was really amazing to have time in Pokhara with friends. Once again I did boating on the Phewa Lake and paid our homage to the Taal Barahi temple.
On 22nd day of December, I moved towards Kathmandu. On the way to Pokhara, I stepped into Gorkha District and visited Gorkha bazaar.
24th December, the Christmas Eve, obviously I found myself in Thamel. I went to Le Bristo where I usually go to. We took tequila as many shots as we could. We almost collapsed. I even had no idea when we reached the apartment. Next day, I slept all the day time and woke up at around 14 hours. At 27th day, I went to Dhulikhel- it was really cold. I observed the training about youth friendly clinic and shared some concept about reproductive and sexual organ. 30th day, we moved towards Taulihawa where Free health camp was going to happen. We checked in a hotel but bedbugs attack, I will always miss this event. After finishing the health camp, we celebrate New Year eve till one o'clock and caught the capital bus at 3 o'clock for Surkhet coming from Kathmandu.
Those fifteen days will be my beautiful memories for 2011 from pleasant to contributory ones. I am hoping more beautiful moments in 2012.
