High School Chronicle: First Mark in Trigonometry

I was studying in government high school in grade eight. It just came out in my mind that I should join boarding school. I just shared my desire with my mom.  'Daamlo badhna mann lagyo?!' She said, 'you are doing well in government school, so….'  'Well mom, I wanna do more.' I replied immediately. She then readily accepted. Dad also encouraged me to do more. School's principal was asked about my entry in that boarding school. I was ready for entrance test and was waiting in admin office. When principal knew that I was the first boy in government school, he just accepted me in same grade though I was prepared for grade seven. I even needed not appear in the entrance test. Everybody was looking at me. Some talked to me some were yet to talk. Since I was new, every teacher asked my introduction. ROTI KHANCHHAU? (Would U like to have bread?)

After a few months, I planned for trekking in Kalikot for orientation about vaccine preventable diseases. We started out our trekking early in the morning from Manma to Sukatiya VDC. EPI supervisor from DHO Kalikot joined me for trekking. We tried to find out shortcut way to reach our destination but we were lost at the very beginning of our journey. With some difficulty, we found the sparse impression of goreto (passerby road). We followed that road and reached the field where wheat buds were just emerging from the ground. On the way, we passed by an old temple in the middle of field and found a pandhero (water place). We gulped some water that was very cold that sensitize my teeth but it was delicious and natural. On the way, we found a ditch made for irrigation. Me, on the way EPI Supervisor, Kalikot DHO   We got a chautaro (sitting place at the base of tree) after one hour of our journey. working in periphery

What comes in your mind when you find yourself where there is no telecommunication, no electricity and no internet-you will completely paralysed; something you will feel breathlessness. Well guys, it was same for me when I was posted in Sallibazar, a town on the bank of Veri river in Salyan district on its western border with Surkhet. When I started my journey from Kohalpur to this place, I was playing with the aggression of Veri river's flood. The road sometimes touches it and sometimes goes far away from it. There is no way when vehicles get accident, it will be swallowed by Veri river. I have blurring recall of Babai, Harre, Chhinchu,Mehelkuna, Botechaur, Pokhre, Reikar, Baluwa sangrahi, Amra and finally Sallibazar. When I got gradually accustomed to this place, it was heavenly touchy completely different from internet world.
