Boarding Bajura

When I was assigned for Bajura District for Measles-Rubella (MR) campaign I was excited to visit this district because it was my great opportunity to visit Bajura officially otherwise I may not be able to visit this place personally. After completing some administrative procedures I set out for Bajura District. Driving down to Kohalpur, moving through Bardiya and crossing the Karnali Bridge, we stopped by in Chisapani where we took lunch with fish curry in an eatery. Thereafter we moved towards Dhangadi where we entered the field office of WHO-IPD and talked about technical activity about MR campaign in Far western development region. FWDR consists of 9 districts and one of them is Bajura, a rural district in FWDR where vehicle is yet to reach there. My Traveling: Recalling Chitlang

Journey ends only when life takes rest. From the birth to the death, man always travels in his life. During this travel he goes up and goes down too. He struggles many of the times to catch what he wants. If a man enjoys traveling he does not need to look back. The best way to live the life is to enjoy what you are doing.  Traveling is not finding beautiful moments but finding the beauty within it. The integral part of the traveling is adventure. Many of times I have played with it.    When you enjoy traveling, you will forget all the pain you have. Let me share one of the glimpses of my traveling that happened ten years back when we passed our basic science barrier in MBBS life. Traveling on foot from the Kathmandu valley to Daaman and Simbhanjyan g crossing the Chandragiri hill was really wonderful flashback.   पहिलो दिन आज कंचनजंघा सर्किट घुम्न मन लाग्यो र आज भन्दा ६  वर्ष अघिको पललाई स्मरण   गर्न मन लाग्यो | कार्तिक महिनाको अन्तिम हप्ता तिर हो २०७३ सालको | जीवनमा एउटै बेस क्याम्प गएको छु त्यो हो कंचनजंघाको दक्षिणी बेस क्याम्प ओक्ताङ जुन ४५०० मी. भन्दा माथि छ | यो सर्किट पूरा गर्न दश   दिन लागेको थियो जुन अत्यन्तै दुस्साहसी काम थियो | तीन जना डाक्टरहरु : म, दीपक बन्जाडे जो अहिले हाडजोर्नी विषयमा धरानबाट एम एस गरी सकी भरतपुर् अस्पतालमा काम गरिरहेका छन् , सोनिङ लामा पनि अहिले हाडजोर्नी विषयमा धरानमा एम एस गर्दै छन्    र एकजना भरिया दाइ इन्द्र बुढाथोकी जो ताप्लेजुंग स्वास्थ्य कार्यालयमा कार्यरत छन् | ताप्लेजुङको   फुङलिङ   बजारबाट बिहान ५ बजे तिर सुकेटार उक्ली अनि   देउराली हुँदै   गाडीमा ओरालो लाग्यौ लालिखर्क हुँदै फावाखोला सम्म पुग्यौ | त्यहा चिया नास्ता खाई पदयात्रा शुरु भयो र एक   घण्टामा ओरालो झरी   फावाखोला तरयौ | फावाखोलाबाट उकालो लाग्यौ   र बीचमा सिकैचामा खाना खाइयो – दिपकको फाटेको थियो   जुत्ता, सिलायौ |   उकालो चढ्यौ, टोपी खस्ने उकालो चढ्यौ र शिरमा तेल्लोक र सिकैचाको सिमानामा फ
